Ellen Tesler, AIF^®

Ellen Tesler, Senior Vice President Investments at Newport Capital Group, brings over 20 years of investment experience to the firm. Ellen’s responsibilities include conducting due diligence on plan investments, delivering investment evaluations, performing manager searches and trading. In addition, Ellen works with committees to help them meet their fiduciary duties under DOL guidelines. She is also a member of the Newport Capital Group Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Newport Capital Group, Ellen was a Portfolio Manager at QS INVESTORS, a wholly owned subsidiary of LEGG MASON, now FRANKLIN TEMPLETON, responsible for constructing, managing and trading $15 billion AUM in customized model portfolios, target date/risk funds, liability-driven investments and 529 portfolios. Earlier in her career, she worked as a quantitative analyst at Deutsche Bank and Lord Abbett.

Ellen graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University, majoring in business with a minor in Law and earned her MBA from Pace University in Finance. Ellen holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®) designation from fi360. Ellen lives in Holmdel, New Jersey, with her husband and two children.
